Cubs Exec Takes BlackHawks job

Cubs team president John McDonough has stepped down to take a similar position with the Chicago Blackhawks. Guess he wants to get out before the new ownership group takes over, but for the Blackhawks? Until the Wirtz family sells the team, he has little hope of succeeding. They've driven a once proud franchise into the ground.

I read a big article in the Tribune this weekend about Rocky Wirtz running the team. It made me feel much better about their future. He appears to realize his father's transgressions.
