I was just looking around Nike.com and found a pair of basketball shoes (in widths!) that lets you put a mascot on them. You could also add a number and name (NikeID). If you're willing to fork over $120, these would be great for showing off your Cyclone spirit!

(I know the cardinal color isn't perfect, but pretty close. You could also choose to have more gold if desired)

Thanks a bunch! I might actually have to fork over the money for some of those to go with the outfit...

That'd have been easier than painting my shoes...

Oh well, I still like my own "custom" ones more

$120 for gamedays only seem kind of steep to me.

I figure I've got 3+ years left as a college student of basketball, football, women's soccer, gymnastics, etc....I can probably knock it down to less than $1 per time worn.

What you do is go down to Pella and buy some unfinished wooden shoes and paint them. Ware them to the games and stomp your foot often. Of course you would have to be standing on the bleachers to get the best effect- students following me.

. . . I really, really, really like this idea.

If I was still in school I'd be trying to talk a whole row of people into doing this in Cyclone Alley

I've been looking at these for a few years. They never had the feature of adding a mascot, but the name, number and colors have been there. Looks like a neat deal and I'll buy myself some for Christmas
