Whose your guys most favored/less favored commentators? I know one of my favorites is probably the whole crew from fox nfl. Cant say a favorite ISU commentator cause I cant hear them due to me yelling at a stupid play or call

. But i'd have to say my less favored is definately Bill Walton or Joe Buck. After reading a book about Bill Walton and him loving greatful dead, he just irritates me. I hate Joe Buck for his lack of sense of humor for that infamous touchdown moon-show by Randy Moss.

Gary Thompson, is my all-time favorite person to listen to while watching a game.

Al Michaels is my favorite non-isu commentator though, i'm gonna miss listening to him on monday nights.

No one will ever do an ISU game better than Pete Taylor did.

No one.

Tony Kornheiser (spelling) is going to be awsome of MNF. He is halarious on PTI.

Loved Pete for his loyalty to the program but didn't care to listen to him call a game.

We got lucky when John Walters was hired to replace Pete. He has great pipes, is incredibly knowledgable about anything sports related and gets excited when calling our games. Even though he went to Drake, he is one of us and wants to be one of us. He is a great guy to have on our side.

My favorite non-ISU commentator is **** Enberg, very classy and always makes the game watchable. Least favorite would either be Brent Musberger or Billy Packer, both think they are the show.

Pete Taylor and John Walters have been and will be super for ISU.

I also think Keith Jackson has done a super job on college football for many years.

Pete was the best, listening to him was like having your dad in the room on the couch with you commenting on the game. You could always tell when the game was going badly or if things were going well right away when you turned the radio on. He never pulled punches.

For non-ISU, I like Gary Thorn. He has a great voice. Kornheiser is going to be great on MNF....I tape PTI every day so I don't miss the banter between him and Wilbon.

I miss Pete. I have to think he is looking down with a smile to see the progression of the athletic department. Also I would like to see Ben Bruns moved to the color spot on the football broadcasts. Although they have gotten better, it seems John and Eric don't get along.

I would like to see ISU make some changes with the TV crew for basketball. Dave Armstrong's "Outstanding" and foolish metafors make him sound corny.

Non ISU announcers: Kevin Harlan, Gus Johnson, Dave Barnett

You gotta love Petes enthusiasm. If you tuned in late... you could tell how we were doing based on his tone. Plus i get chills when i hear certain replays of his calls. I love to listen to the site that has some of Petes old calls set to music, really cool.

One of my favorite people to listen to is Gary Thorne, and the SF Giants guy that does Sunday night baseball.
