Fanatic. Can we please have a new picture Custer tied to his articles? The one that is continually used is from late in his junior year before he committed. He is always going to look younger than his years, but give him a break and at least be somewhat current.

He looks like he's guest starring on Fallon. And I don't mean to make fun, just caught him at an unfortunate time:

man, when are basketball shorts gonna get a new length-fashion change; this skirt-length is getting tired and about 20years on.

But now they serve the purpose of covering the basketball capri's they wear...

Why are you trying to bring down everything the Fab 5 built? White people. Sometimes. smh

This kid has worked hard in the weight room over the last couple years. I've seen him play 5-6 times over that period. He's made some serious gains. He was really skinny at the start of his junior year.

Cyclone fans are going to love him. He's the definition of a gamer. He's always in the right spot and makes good decisions. Oh yeah, and he dropped 35 on Perry Ellis' team in the state championship game as a freshman.

I also think we're going to find he's every bit as talented as Monte. He will thrive in Fred's system. Complete guard. Shoot, pass, defend, manage. He does it all. He's better and a more complete player than Frankamp at KU.

After seeing him in one game I feel a lot better about the PG spot. I think Fred could also use BDJ like he did Will Clyburn, taking that much more pressure off the PG. I think Clayton could see the floor a good deal this year if he keeps making the simple play and hits a few open 3's. It will be interesting to see how good of a defender he is, as the level of competition rises.

I have a feeling that Clayton is a pretty good shooter. His very first 3 ever as a Cyclone was from a foot or two beyond the arc at the top of the key and it rattled inside the rim a few times and just missed. But it was dead on. No nerves at all.

Then, a short time later, he puts up another one, confidence not shaken at all, and hits nothing but net. That says a lot about him IMO. He is fearless.

His ball handling and passing seems very good as well, so I think Fred can rely on him to spell Monte at times and come in and take care of the ball and just facilitate the stars on this team. That would be a great role for him this year.
