I guess I haven't watched a lot of his pressers but he's so much more animated here than when he started. Love to see it. It's like he's had an epiphany and realized how great things are lol.
That was quite the 8 minute monologue. Good stuff. Beats “daily habits”
I love TJ calling out the contributions of all the guys in the program basically one by one, no matter where in the "rotation" they are. You can easily see why all of the guys are completely bought into the program and the culture. I know that as fans we all know it, but sometimes it's hard to take a step back and truly appreciate it, like TJ says.
I can't find it but there was a great clip of the players doing impersonations of TJ.

Yep....while all coaches have their "go to" things they say (or if you listen to even TJ do a tv post game, Walters post game, presser the answers can be very similar)....BUT, he definitely has an authenticity to him and true care for the program (not just lip service) and for the ISU community.
Play this ^ for anyone worried TJ may leave for another school.
TJ's connection to the team, passion for ISU and respect/appreciation of the fan base is clear and obvious especially for mid week media presser.
