We will absolutely be ranked in next week's should we beat Tech and OU takes care of Baylor. Notice how Baylor only fell one spot despite losing to a bad TCU team? Only reason they didn't plummet like the committee would typically do for a non-brand team like Baylor is because the Bears play OU this week. Need that good ranking to help boost OU's resume should the Sooners win.

You can bet your ass we will get a favorable ranking next week to help the Sooners' resume should things hold serve this weekend. The committee doesn't even try to hide what they are doing. Purdue jumping all the way from unranked to #19 is solely to prop up Ohio State this weekend.

Teams with wins over the current CFP Top 10:

Texas A&M beat # 2 Alabama
Stanford beat # 3 Oregon
Oregon beat # 4 Ohio State
Michigan State beat # 6 Michigan
Purdue beat # 7 Michigan State
Cincinnati beat # 9 Notre Dame
Iowa State beat # 10 Oklahoma State

That's it. Stanford and ISU are only teams on that list who aren't ranked. Who has Utah beaten?

Wow. Utah 6-3 is in.
That's to prop up Oregon which needs some propping.

Another thing holding Iowa State back is Iowa being ranked so low. There is no way they will put ISU with a loss to and a lesser record than the Hawkeyes above them, and they are only #20. Even with a win over West Virginia and a 5 game winning streak, they wouldn't have jumped ISU over Iowa due to their head to head point they are trying to proove this year (minus UM-MSU).

Just a mucked up year for ISU and the CFP rankings.
Just win baby!
Eventually, they will have to rank the Cyclones.

It's funny watching football fans critique and question the CFB playoff committee. They don't give a ****. There's no ramifications from them doing what ESPN and other special interests want. It's just like politics.

The rankings this year are such a joke.

The committee can't even follow their own rules. It's so bad. I'm getting promotional emails from ESPN about it, if that tells you anything.

Guys we should all know by now, that the CFP is not an actual playoff, it's an SEC/B1G/Blue blood invitational....exactly why TCU didn't get in the first year of the playoff....and I hate how people play on hypothetical situations..."well if Bama and Cincy played today, we all know Bama would win"...yeah probably, but then why are we even having a season? Why do we play games if the names are already going to be pre-determined? You have to earn your way there and too many teams don't get punished enough for losing
