Cash is nice to have when you don’t want another person knowing how much you spent at the bar.
I don't care what anyone says. I will continue to wear my cargo shorts. I will continue to wear my jorts on the Fourth of July. People will make fun of me and I will keep on wearing them. Give me cargos or give me death.
I'm just walking in them, not dancing to the hippity hopp music.
I use cash a lot. I use credit card a lot. Never use my Debit Card except at ATM. Not going to give out checking account by using my Debit Card. Credit Card compromise and I can simply cancel that card and get a new one. Debit Card compromise and my bank account is compromised. Use the Credit Card not Debit Card.
Cash is great. Accepted Everywhere. No problems. No card to compromise. I laugh when people go to small Mom and Pop places and find they actually need to pay in cash. No credit cards taken. And then they panic when they find out that small towns may not even have an ATM.

You'll wear cargo shorts because you lack the masculinity to wear a fanny pack.
You may not want to let people on CF know you carry a credit card. There is a portion of the board that believes if you can't pay cash, you can't afford it.

In all seriousness though we never keep a CC balance. It's all about those points/rewards and makes it easier to track things so everything goes on there. Anything you can't CC (aka Mortgage) just auto comes out of joint savings.

I can’t remember the last time I purchased something with cash. Especially with apps like Venmo these days, cash is rarely exchanged when I owe somebody $ or vice versa. I try to use my CC as much as possible, especially to pay my bills. Ever since I started doing that, my rewards have sky rocketed.
