A few years ago, we took the kids to the sculpture garden. The Pride festival was going on in Loring Park, just on the other side of Hennepin. My nephew had just come out of the closet so we thought that visiting the Pride festival would be a good way to educate and enlighten the kids. We walked across the footbridge over Hennepin. As we were about to descent the stairs on the other side, the first person we saw was a women wearing just a thong and pasties. We turned around and figured there was probably better ways to enlighten the kids.

New shorts update. The red shorts are being exchanged for some khaki ones. We agreed that I'm too old to pull of red shorts and I look dam fine in any shorts so I don't need to stick out like that.
