It is matches other than just wrestling in the room. Some call them exhibition matches. A chance to see the team and wrestling. But should have posted, Date,Time, & Place.

Wrestling Tessau might be a sign that Colbray will actually make it to 184. For those in the know, are you hearing anything about this?

Yes, Colbrsy will make 184. Doesn’t have much choice if he wants to wrestle.

Maybe it is because they have only been practicing for a week. They are only doing this because of the Agony in Ames. Attend the Nichols Open if you want to see wrestle-offs.

I like how it showcases the incoming class. As fans we all have an idea in our heads about where each member of the team is at, and it will be interesting to see how the new comers stack up. It sets a great tone for them to be ready immediately and gives the youngsters an opportunity to stand out.

Lots of reasons to watch. We haven't seen live wrestling in months. First time seeing Carr in an ISU singlet. Willie Miklus is a monster, and he wrestles for us.

Not a lot of intriguing matches, but maybe there are some freshman that will impress. Even if they were "Wrestle Offs" the matches are rarely very exciting with all of the familiarity between teammates.

I’m assuming all schools have the same start date. How is it that tOSU is having wrestle offs already so early in the season?

So does Ohio state and they just did a public wrestle off that had 2 returning AAs wrestle 2 of 3.

I don’t care what you call it, but just want to see good matches. Will pass on this snoozer.

I don’t know why you WOULDN’T want to see this. Good chance to see some new faces. Opportunity to show you these guys why Isu good choice. But hey, I like dropping in to watch practice from time to time.

The match-ups we want to see should happen at the Cyclone open soon enough. We will get a better idea that weekend when they are ready to go. This should be fun! Can't wait to see these guys on the mat Saturday.
