CALL YOUR SHOT: Utah predictions thread

what do we have a better shot to win: a shootout or a low scoring battle?

I have no idea. I don't trust our offense to win a shootout again. Our defense is still better than our O. So i say:

ISU wins: 21-17
Utah wins: 38-13

Final: Iowa State loses by more than the score would indicate. 31-13 Utes.

YES!!!

I think the fans will play a key role in this game as well. Time to pack the house, get jacked up, make some serious noise, and capitalize on the energy that last weeks win provided the fan base and the team. When Utah steps on that field let's make sure they know that they are in Cyclone Country and it is a freaking hostile territory if you are a Ute.
 
hopefully our cyclones can prove K-state wrong: can't win games just because your excited and a bunch of fans show up to the game hoping to get the upset.

It takes 4 quarter consistent, mistake free football.

This +1. My hopes that there are alot of actually optimistic Clones on here, but they'd rather act pessimistic as to not let the boys get too big of heads. Atleast my hope anyway, otherwise why even cheer. They are probably the ones sitting on their hands all game too. Make JTS LOUD, and Go Clones!

It is time. We knew heading into this season that making a bowl game would be tough with this schedule. Here ISU sits 3-2. This is a HUGE game. 4-2 at this point in the season puts a bowl game well within reach. 3-3 makes that mountain a hell of a lot tougher to climb. Time for the crowd to treat a game like our entire season is on the line and go ******* crazy on Saturday night.

Can't judge ISU by who they've played either...Iowa State Cyclones 31 Utah 28 in OT. Grant Mahoney gets mugged by the student body and carried off for his game winner.

No, it would be a good sign if our game was one of the ones picked unanimously--and we were picked to win. :yes:
 
I don't have a good feeling. We are too high after a fun win over a bad Tech team.

Our team has scored 27, 7, 20, 27, and 52 points. The Tech game is an anomaly so far. We're going to need at least 30 points to win this game.

Utah wins 38-17.
