Does anyone know any good, legitimate sites to buy or rent books online?? I'm looking to do this for my summer classes but I'm afraid I'll get screwed over somehow.

Alright, I had seen that site along with others like Bigwords.com, I just wanted someone else's opinion. Preferably someone who had used them.

I have probably bought and sold around 50 books and the only problem that I remember is when I shipped someone the wrong book. They were pretty understanding and I also have them a full refund so I didn't recieve any negative feedback. I don't know if you have noticed but half is also powered by ebay so the feedback carries over.

I would recommend that you give yourself 1-2 weeks because sometimes it takes a while depending on where the book is shipping from and people will ship media which is pretty slow. I will usually stay away from indviduals with little or no feedback but I still haven't had any problems when I took a chance on them.

If you sell your books I highly recommend selling them online because you can get back almost what you paid unless there is a new edition.

i use BigWords every semester and it saves me a TON!! it just depends on how much you want to divvy up your books between companies. For the spring i rented 5 books through bigwords and every singe one was through a different company. It got a little confusing when it was time to ship them all back, but I tried to keep track of which book was which.
