I remember reading something about this, but I don't remember the purpose of it. Anyone know what it is there for and why the players all touched it?

It used to be at old Clyde Williams field. It reads Honor Before Victory. I think they are just trying to build tradition. Traditions are what people will remember in 5,10 20 years. But i didnt see to many player stouching it.

They touched it when they came on the field for warmups.
