A lot of fans are going to want to grade Iowa State lower than a B but this team had a stupid run of bad luck.

True.

And for this series, ESPN isn't using any +/-, maybe B-minus fits a little better with expectation vs. result, but straight B seems reasonable.

I mean, how many games did ISU lose when completely at full strength? Three, maybe? (Almost thinking it wasn't even that many, can't recall all the Milan/Gilbert/CuJo overlapping segments).

Honestly, I think our only loss with the team at full strength was Auburn.

Besides Auburn, the only loss where every player in the main 8-man rotation played was BYU at home in the second-to-last regular season game. Of course, Gilbert wasn't really at full strength for that game.

Thanks for clarification.

Of course, no guarantee ISU would've won every game at full strength outside of Auburn, but having so much upheaval with the lineup for more than a couple of months (and lingering injuries within it) definitely didn't help.
