In the pictures on cyclones.com he was out there with Bowen and Banks and the rest of the D so it looks like he is already running with the first team D at MLB. He is #14.
How in the world did we get all of those Juco's into school. No offense to Juco kids but usually it seams 50% don't make it into school.
Dude, that's kinda like asking how does Chuck Norris take out 25 guys with a single roundhouse kick. No one knows how it happens, it just happens - and if you asked him he'd give you a visual demonstration :wink0st:
Chuck Norris aside, I wonder if it may be due to the fact that Chizik made sure these guys had there heads on straight and were ready to pass junior college. You're right though; McCarney wasn’t too great in getting all the JUCO guys to actually see the field.

Seriously, he was impressed by the fact the they all made it to camp. Especially compared to prior years when so many didn't. We talked about the O-line JUCOs too and he said they're a crapshoot sometimes. He recalled Lorenzo White coming in unheralded a few years back in the midst of JUCO All-Americans and how he ended up a 2-year starter while the others basically flamed out...
