A lot of good beers but they change a lot. Dart Dodge is probably my favorite. OJ IPA is different and good. Try out samplers.
I honestly used to hate IPAs and now they're my favorite style. For me, it was when I started homebrewing that I began to really appreciate hops.
I find myself using a snifter or tulip glass for about everything. I like the way they feel in my hand and that's about the only reason I use them. For stouts I sometime use a standard pint glass. I fill it to the top and than by the time it gets to the bottom it warms up a little. It really doesn't make a difference to me as long as I'm not drinking it out of the bottle. I'll drink your standard beer out of the bottle though.
Central Water's Mudpuppy Porter? That's one of my old standards. I didn't know they were distributed in Iowa. Also, never had it on nitro. Bet that is good.
Yep, always into a glass. I'm not super crazy about proper glassware pairing, but I do use my IPA glasses whenever I'm drinking something hoppy. Otherwise I normally use a tulip (love the New Belgium ones). I really like nonic pint glasses, too.
Every now and then, I like to put a couple mugs in the freezer and pour my beer into those. Especially if I have the tall screw-top cans. I do not like drinking out of those.
That just came to Iowa about a week ago. I don't know if they have it here yet but Illumination is a pretty good ipa.

Malty and strong is my thing. Doppelbocks, Imperial Stouts, Scotch Ales, etc. With that said, I like an IPA once in a while just for a change.
Picked up a six pack of West-O Smoked Red Ale. Brewed in Okoboji. They just got into my local Hy-Vee 5 days ago. Excited to try it.
