BB recruiting questions...

I apologize for bringing this up as a thread when I know that the information is probably in at least five other different threads, but other than Tyrone Appleton, does anyone know any other names, either HS or JUCO, that we are going after?

What I would like to see is for us to get a JUCO big man, preferably someone that can be a Jackson Vroman type of player, at least stat-wise. I know that might be a tall order at this point in the recruiting game, but I would feel a lot better about our post presence next season if we can sign someone like that.

Babb seems like a long shot. He has picked up several offers recently, and I don't think he is going to ISU. There's always a chance though.

Because everyone is working off past dissapointments. Being an ISU fan is like being abused and still thinking he'll change. =)

Vanderbecken=Rampton. I'd rather play Mike Smith, no offense Mr. Smith, than sign Jamie.

I think we need guards more than big men. We still have Alex Thompson, and Craig Brackins next year. Also any big guys coming in already as Freshman? Good guards are the weak link at this point.

I think you need at least 3 big men. One is injured, one fouls out, the other team has more than one big man.

Now if you can get some real point guards like Drake has, then maybe go guard. Emmenecher and Young both can dribble penetrate and they are speedy. Josh actually can shoot threes also.
