There's a special place in hell for anyone who hires Art Briles.
Unfortunately, he will be atleast an assistant again, maybe even HC.
That sucks. I hope there's a loud enough response from students and alumni to scare them away from actually making the hire.
Briles wants to be a head coach again. ANY program willing to take a chance on him as an assistant, he will jump at the chance. He doesn't give two ***** about anyone but himself.
Yeah, I know. Briles' son is the OC at Florida State now I think, so clearly some schools are willing to weather any criticism. But I can still hope. Tennessee got bullied out of hiring Greg Schiano just because he's a ****** coach, so there's a chance.
Not teaching men how to behave around a Southern Miss was how he got into trouble in the first place

Yeah, I was a little surprised that the HC went public like that. He had to know that getting the administration to sign off on hiring a PR disaster like Briles was going to be a tough sell.
