Take out the South Dakota game and ISU is averaging 21 points per game and has not scored over 24. Biggest thing I want to see is ISU put up 30+ on a power 4 team.
Stats aren’t wrong there but you could’ve said the exact same thing last year through 4 games.

21-3 vs North Dakota
20-19 @ Iowa
52-7 vs Arkansas State
20-0 vs Houston

With that being said I’m hopeful we see the offense click like it did last year.

We just talked about same, and our list was essentially all the national parks & monuments, maybe a couple museums and navy ships.
Exactly, we like the museums and ships too, which are usually what pulls us into a city for a day or two, but then we get out of the city as quick as possible to see the country.

I have never been to L.A., and after spending a long time looking at things to do there, I think there are only a couple things on the list I care to go to see, and 1 of those is USS Iowa. A day is probably all I care to spend in LA.

I think the key against AZ is going to be hitting on big time plays. They seem very aggressive and attack the ball. This should lead to opportunities with play action or misdirection. Definitely need to connect on those.

Opportunities will be there for the deep ball. Have to hit on those.

Also, Sama breaks a big run

The running game has really been pretty effective all season outside of the first half of the KSU game.

We just didn't lean into it enough against Arkansas State. RBs went for 93 yards at 4.04 YPC against Iowa. 11 yards was the biggest run for either guy, so it was very consistent positive yardage.

On the season, Sama is averaging 4.8 YPC with a long of only (for him) 44 yards. On the season, Hansen is averaging 4.7 YP with a long of 38.

Those numbers indicate steady, consistent, and reliable positive ground yards.

Explosiveness is the biggest thing lacking vs last year. Need to find a way to get it back so you don't have to be mistake-free for 12 plays to score every single time.

That was my impression in the little that I have watched of them. They're going to pressure the line of scrimmage pretty hard, and if you don't burn them for it, you're going to struggle.

Its looking like a sellout very soon.

A quick count shows 87 +/- tickets left for the game, with most of those being singles scattered around the stadium.

The remaining home games besides KU have very few tickets left. If we keep playing well, we could sell out all of them, at least outside the KU game. Which would be incredible.

Anytime you are essentially down to singles left it is a sellout.

Also 87 tickets is 0.14% of capacity. It's a sellout.

Every stadium on the road in this conference is a monster,” said Arizona coach Brent Brennan. “Every road game that we play is sold out, everywhere the crowd is all over your (expletive) the moment you get off the bus. It’s just part of playing in this conference.”

Can't wait to see Arizona players win a few Hello, Kitty stickers...

Mostly normal message board stuff…The only thing I think is funny is the guy saying Ames is far from anything exciting. Been to Tucson one time and will not be going back. Thought it was going to be Phoenix-lite and it was a dump
The first time I went to Tucson we flew in before the first Insite Bowl and were going to drive from there to Phoenix. We got in late at night and I had the same initial reaction. But then when I got up in the morning and saw the desert and mountains I had a totally different perspective.

Tucson is incredible. Saguaro NP is such an underrated national Park. And some of the "sky island" national Forest hiking/camping areas just south of Tucson are absolutely beautiful.

Phoenix is a concrete hellhole (that's hotter than Tucson)
Yeah, Tucson is awesome. The only thing that sucks about it is how there’s no expressway into the Catalina foothills/Sabino Canyon area so you just sit in stoplights constantly.

The best Mexican food I've ever had was in Tucson in a restaurant in the parking lot behind a car dealership
