Those movies for $3,4,5 get me every time. I am a sucker for DVDs, especially cheap ones! I can't even believe that movies were that cheap today...

I bought Evil Dead and will watch it for the first time tonight. I have seen Army of Darkness several times. I figured I had best see the first ones sometime!

I saw House, South Park, and Nip/Tuck seasons were like $20 each at Best Buy today. That would have been sweet. Except, those same prices are available anywhere second-hand as well, many of which offer a return period if they don't play.

Were the dvd's you guys got widescreen? My wife said all she saw was the fullscreen versions which is why she did not buy many.

This is totally off the topic of the thread, but has anyone ever seen this site? DVD Profiler, by Invelos Software, Inc. - you can download a free app onto your computer that can catalog your DVD's for you, track to whom you've loaned them, create wish lists, etc. You can then publish it on the internet.

Here's our site (yes, it's an odd combination - most of them are mine, including the Disney stuff, which is just in case we ever pop out a kid):

Honestly, I have multiple Disney stuff, not for kids, but because I like them. Is that bad?

Not at all - it's one of those few times you can be a kid again!! Honestly, "The Emperor's New Groove" kicks my butt. David Spade can sometimes be a one-trick pony, but that movie kills me.

(Note - "Kronk's New Groove" was NOT funny.)

I won't get into exactly which ones I have, but that's one, as well as the old school Disney movies, like Alice in Wonderland and Sleeping Beauty. Dragons rule!

I love both of those!! I can't bring myself to throw down on "Pete's Dragon", though. Just never got into that one. Not a big "Black Cauldron" girl, either... They showed those every day, all summer, every summer at my day care.
