Why don't we move it to this weekend? I mean, it would cause a lot more drama and more could be on the line. Its just a thought but I don't like the game being played in week 3.

Florida plays Florida State and Georgia plays Georgia Tech tomorrow and they aren't in the same conference.
If it were this weekend, then they'd need the win to get bowl eligible....and lo and behold it would be thier superbowl!
BTW, f#@% Nebraska. No bowl for those clowns either.
I think the rivalry factor would be elevated on thier part with it being played later in the season with the stakes raised.

I like the nicer weather in the early fall for the game then the weather we typically see this time of the year. I think that is the main reason it is not changed to Rivalry week.

You have got to be kidding. Its football and if you can't get up and play your biggest rival in 30 degree weather, then you shouldn't be playing football. Same with the fans. Its pathetic that people are throwing around the weather excuse, football is meant to be played in the cold.
I am in no way disagreeing with what you said, but the fact still remains the weather is nicer in the early fall then it is now.
We played them at the end of the season in 2001. It was kinda fun to finish the season against them. I believe we won, which pissed them off because they always had the argument that we only beat them because it was at the beginning of the season, and they hadn't peaked yet.
I guarantee that it would be more than those that stay for the last game as it is right now.
