Jesus this is ******* stupid. Are you drunk at 8 AM?
Wait, we're NOT supposed to be drunk at 8 am?

Just trying to set the table so we can transition to better things in this glorious holiday season. Like bowl game wins and recruiting successes. You've been here too long to actually believe this.
BTW totally agree that my "anywhere" comment was way over reaching but to the schools that would poach him from ND they would be offering a lot of cash.Do you know what “anywhere” means or is reading to ******* hard?
What the hell does this mean?!?
Even the blue bloods aren't immune.
Oklahoma and ND are about as high as it goes and they still lost coaches. This is a wild new era. We'll have these types of off-season conversations as long as we have a good coach.

You were completely wrong.BTW totally agree that my "anywhere" comment was way over reaching but to the schools that would poach him from ND they would be offering a lot of cash.
If your top assistants tend to make 20-25% of what your head coach makes, we aren't that far away...What’s the list for DC’s at $3 million for next year? $4 million?
Dumb ass
I hear ya, but CMC is so different on recruiting than most I have dealt with in the past. You just want to and do believe him when he says something. He is Sheriff Taylor. YA, IM OLD.But, 'next time' may roll around again...and again which becomes a 'pattern' and will eventually have an adverse effect on recruiting. So, what I'm saying is swing the pendulum hard enough that people 'trust' you'll stay.
Campbell can’t be lost for money. ISU can’t afford that. I think Jamie realizes this as well.
Can you imagine being in a relationship with a partner that agrees to stay with you as long as what they really want isn’t available?
Yep and it looks like it could occur in AmesIt's called divorce. Happens a lot.
Lawyer=agentFWIW Campbells camp is referring to his lawyer and his financial guy. Those are the people he leans on since he doesn’t have an agent.
They have to. Seriously. If Notre Dame/Under Armour come with $8-9M, Iowa State can't match that. It's just reality.

This.I disagree. If offered an interview, Matt's going to probably interview. Pollard knows this and understands the reality. If Matt doesn't get the job, whether he decides the timing isn't right or ND decides he's not the guy, Campbell's going to coach his ass off at ISU. Pollard's going to continue to appreciate Campbell as the great coach that he is, and keep pushing ISU athletics forward. I think Campbell and Pollard are pretty open with each other.
But if you think Campbell is going to be half-assing it with a wandering eye, I don't think you have a very good assessment of the guy. He might interview. That period will be a distraction to some extent. But if the decision is made by either party and Campbell continues to coach ISU, then he'll be right back to grinding. That's what he does.
There's a big difference between a guy looking to leave to the best thing he can get vs. this situation, where seemingly one of the jobs on Campbell's ultra-short list opens.
