Hillegas, Schaben and West make All Big 12 First Team, and Rhodes make All-Rookie Team. What a great statement on how this year has gone.

Plus, Izzy finished second in the conference in services aces.

As a team, the Cyclones finished 4th in the B12 in hitting and had 3rd lowest hitting percentage against. And finished second in the B12 in blocks, first in service aces and 1st in digs. Wow.

What a great year so far. A bit saddened that Conoway, Harris and Lazard did not get B12 honors as they also had great years, but I know their stats weren't quite up there enough to get noticed. However, they meant a lot to this team. We will definitely miss the graduating seniors, but I am sure excited by the youth on this team - and the recruits coming in.

Let's hope things go well this weekend for the Ladies. None of their opponents will take them lightly!

Thanks for posting. I had just came over to check if I needed to post this exact same info on the team. On paper we look good. If we can put together two big at home stands, we'll get some much needed national attention.

IF we can get through this weekend the pressure should be off and we should be able to just play. Teams that just play loose and have fun can do some real damage when the faves start to panic that their season is slipping away. If the big dogs handle the pressure they win but you have to play the games. If we get to play WI CJL will have to find a way to slow down Rettke and the Badgers. If they are able to run their fast offense it won't be pretty. Serving tough has never been as important as this will be if it happens.
