What a crazy week....89 people started and only 61 people remain. 11 no-picks and 11 people picked Maryland.

Consensus CF Survivor Pool
Week 1 - Rutgers (18)
Week 2 - NC St. (16)
Week 3 - Oregon (24)

First of all, three people picked teams that had cancelled games. @oldman and @BigD picked Virginia Tech Monday while @mtowncyclone13 picked West Virginia. I'll let you guys decide since I'm 50/50 on whether they should keep playing. I did post that people that picked cancelled games before Friday evening would be eliminated but it might not have gotten to them.

To help in the future with issues, I have asked @CycloneRulzzz to help out with situations like this. This should help prevent things like this in the future. He will also tag others if they haven't posted to remind people.

I created a poll and will decide by Tuesday night what to do. Share your thoughts in your picks if you want to also.

I voted no, and this is why:
Since those games are cancelled a couple days beforehand, please choose a different team this week. If you don’t change, then you are out of the game.
In the future, if the game is cancelled Friday night or Saturday, then I’ll let you stay in. Don’t predict a game getting cancelled so you get to advance another week, that’s no fun.

Your post was made on Tuesday and the games were cancelled on Wednesday. But ultimately, it's your game and your decision Cy$; whatever you decide, we go with. :)

I'll make my selection for this week in a later post.

It's sort of unfair to ask competitors to determine the fate of their competition.

Also, I'm certain many people post a team and forget about until next week. There isn't really discussion in the thread that neccesitates going back into the thread after a pick has been made.

dont let them stay in without burning a team because they would have a leg up on everyone if they didnt have to burn one.

You notified people of the possibility. And the fact that our game got cancelled the week before should have had everyone on high alert for that possibility. Anybody who missed picking a replacement for a game that was cancelled more than a day ahead of time doesn't take this game seriously enough to deserve any mercy. They should have known that their pick was in jeopardy.

"No" was my vote. They should be out of the game. Sorry, but many of us done boneheaded things in the game, such as forgetting to pick, picking against an FCS opponent, picking a team that has already lost, etc.

Where? Most people don't linger in these threads.

Also, the rules say if your team loses you'rr out. Missed teams were picked and players didn't have a loss, so what you think is right vs what the rules are are not the same thing.

I had a cancellation and I'd be just fine not being allowed to pick my team again. No harm, no foul.
