US women's beach volleyball team of Fendrick and Sweat eliminated after a very close match with Russia.
Judo lady wins gold for the US, she got a 10 sec. blurb on NBC, not gymnastics or volleyball, I'm sure we won't see her again.
Did anyone see about the Judo medalist that got beat up and robbed? Sounds like the wrong guy was competing in the Olympics.
Maybe it's ironic that the song isn't actually ironic.
Yea, they keep talking about so many American women in Olympics but don't feature any of them except in gymnastics or beach volleyball. Like watching them online.
NBC came out and directly said they are treating this as entertainment and not sports. And that women watch for the drama over the athletics so they focus on the drama.
That explains it. I hate the drama. And am a woman. Or maybe they are telling me I'm not? My obstetrician has some explaining to do.
Well that probably explains why almost half of their team is the Today Show sorority party.
I like how the US paired Jack Sock with Bethany Mattek-Sands, the woman who always wears tube socks, in mixed doubles. Although I am pulling for Venus and Rajeev Ram to win it all.
