...SIGNS. We need them at every game. Every timeout needs a Free Lucca chant. Especially when we play Kansas, Texas, A&M...How could the commentators not discuss the situation on TV?

I know it would be a little late by then but atleast Lucca would consider staying after seeing the fan support.

It's a real shame you can't alter the Cyclone Alley shirts to include something...

I think it would be an awesome thing if this could be done for at least 1 game. Would likely need a sponsor to pay for the printing and a means to get them handed out as people came through the doors though or on each seat. Plus the whole clearing it through ISU and compliance too I'm sure but can't see how it wouldn't be any different than the usual promotions.

It would be a sweet sight though if coordinated and promoted ahead of time to hold them up at every 4 minute mark time out and to do the chants and stuff. Even if Cyclone Alley could get some big Free Lucca promotion going on that would rock!

Is there any indication he's going to leave. The NCAA declared him ineligible, which means he would be ineligible everywhere else too. Plus, if he transfered, he'd have to sit out next year as well.

Unless you think he'd play at a Juco (which I'm not sure he could do with the NCAA ruling) or play professionally in Europe?

Just curious as to why you think we're at risk for him leaving.

He can go to Europe and play professional basketball.

I think we should just go to the NCAA headquarters, burn the place down and **** on the ashes. And leave a sign saying, "You should have free'd Lucca."

I'm game. I'll start drinking more water so I really have to go.

You bring the Posterboard and Sharpee, I'll bring the gas and matches.

All of these ideas are great but people need to stop saying "It would be great if we could do this..." or "someone should do this..." Take the initiative and make something happen.

Thread created for that purpose. I really think we need some facts to back up an argument as to the scope of this ruling, a lack of uniform application, or at least a disparate impact on foreign players.

I think cyclone alley should all wear black in memory of Lucca's 2007-2008 season.

You really want us to burn the place down and **** on the ashes?

Yes. It is long overdue.

Actually I was referring to the signs/t-shirts thing. If people are really serious about this, and not just talk about it, take the initiative and look into it. Get the ball rolling. Contact ISU officials to see what we can do within the bounds of compliance/copyright.

So would this be a #1 or #2 on the ashes? Just curious so I'm not out of line when this happens. The same amount of letters makes it unclear

I guess take your pick. If it's #2, you could wipe with a copy of the "reinstatement" press release.
