The announcement that they will redo the East concourse in the offseason to match the West I would suspect.
I don't think at this point, redo'ing the east side is a forgone conclusion or a done deal - at least not without the financing.
And does this idea of redoing the east side concourse mean THIS offseason? There was some speculation a few weeks back that it might not be until AFTER the '09 season.
I'm with you on this one; it just doesn't seem "major."

I really think it's confirming financing to redo the East side after this year. Not a big deal for me since I am a West side guy. :smile:
I'm going to career fair today and will swing by Weitz' booth and speak with Ben Bruns and see what he has to say...best to hear from the contractor. If I heard correctly at their info session that I think the drawings are close to being completed.
Anybody else hear the older Cyclone fan who called in and talked to Chizik? He called and asked Gene if it would be possible to have the ISU road uniforms have the players name on the jerseys like they are for the home games. He goes on to say that he sits in a dark bar to watch the games and can't read his roster at his table. Gene responds by telling him that there are no names on the home or away uniforms and that if any players want their names known they need to produce on the field. Then he tells the old guy that he may just want to bring a flashlight with him to the bar with a copy of the roster until then.
