Eureka/Warehouse 13/Alphas are all good, nerdy, not-well-known shows on SyFy. Not sure if this is off the beaten path, since it won a golden globe, but Homeland was the best show on tv last year, in my opinion. -

On offense, I like watching Jake Williams... it's just awesome when he makes the clutch, jumpball catches for a first down or touchdown. On defense, definitely Jake Knott. For all the reasons everyone already mentioned. -
