How awesome was late 90's, early 2000's rap music?

I think the problem with today's rap is not the beats, but the lyrics. Yes, the beats today are faster and have more of a techno/house feel, but that doesn't mean they are bad. The old beats have their time and place depending on my mood, as do the new. I just wish I didn't have to try and block...

    Quarterback Position Reopens

Pit playing like Montana means hitting wide open receivers, then yes, I expect him to play like Montana. I agree that he is our best option, but that does not absolve him of any blame for playing poorly.

    Quarterback Position Reopens

No, I certainly saw that. What do you expect when they are out there for 40 mins? Holding that offense under 30 was a good accomplishment, lack of third down stops aside, and should have been enough to win the game.

    Quarterback Position Reopens

Yes, the receivers dropped several passes, but I believe that is more of a QB issue than WR issue. For the most part the passes dropped were poorly thrown balls; either out of the receivers zone as another poster stated, or thrown with improper velocity for the route run. There is no need to...

Are the following potential outcomes vs. Tulsa indicators for the season?

With how bi-polar the team was last year I'm not sure you can say any outcome in the first game is indicative of how they will perform the rest of the season.

    Beards

I used to work as a salesman at Scheels and we were not allowed to have facial hair. You could actually get sent home for having too much stubble. I've had a stubble beard ever since I left that p.o.s. job.

What irritates you on the highway?

Then get out of the left hand lane if someone comes up behind you. pretty simple.

What irritates you on the highway?

People (generally old people) who come to a complete stop on the on-ramp because they are afraid to merge due to the speed of oncoming traffic. This is extremely dangerous and idiotic. If you are incapable of merging onto the interstate, then you should not be driving on the interstate.

Best career/work advice you ever got?

Agreed. Do not go to law school unless a) someone else is paying for it (no student loans!!) and b) you have connections to get a job. Also, you have to be willing to work some less desirable jobs on the way to finding your "perfect" job.

RECRUITING: Matt Thomas on unofficial visit

Sure, that is important. I know he probably thinks he is going to play in the NBA, but it is hard to pass up the kind of education and connections that he would make at UVA. That being said, I would love to watch him knocking down three's in Hilton.
