    New construction on south duff

    They built a freakin mountain! The base of the new construction (the actual building) is higher than the roof of the car rental place next door. I have name it Mt. Happy Joes and placed a flag there to make it official.

    High School Football tonight

    Not jus score updates, but http://www.highschoolcube.com/ is a great place to watch live Iowa High School sports. Many of the schools around the state have started streaming athletic events. Some even keep them posted to watch later. Just started using it at Ames. Cool setup really.

    Tree Service in Ames

    Unfortunately, the tree had to come down. It had too much damage and it was an Ash tree I was trying to hang on to as long as possible. Went with Weiss. I am sure a paid a little more, but they did a great job, did it fast and cleaned up after themselves.

    anybody wear vibram 5 fingers?

    I love mine. I have had them for a couple years. Run dam 2 dam in them. They are comfortable, great for running and it embarrasses my kids when I wear them in public.

    Helluva season

    Need about 2 months to catch my breath after this season. Then it's countdown until next basketball season with an improving Football team to keep me entertained until then!
