    Agree that Minnesota has a great setup. And I do think the Wisconsin Fieldhouse is a cool building in its own right, and it might have had a sprucing up since I was there last. What I recall while wandering behind the stands is dark, dingy walls with painted-over windows and peeling paint.

    Yup there's a black curtain going about 2/3 of the way around the bowl about halfway up, in use for VB and WBB. No curtain in front of the TV camera station on the concourse, or the media control booth to the left of that. IMHO it merely draws attention to the issue.

    Minnesota has been a Top 25 team the last few years with similar weather. To be fair, they of course don't play conference opponents from TX and OK.
