    Realignment Megathread (All The Moves)

If that ends up happening then there would be no reason to join a certain conference. You just make what you can make. Maybe that's how it should be. The TV partners just pay you what you earn and there's no conference contracts.

    Realignment Megathread (All The Moves)

Aren't those short term deals. Don't those schools eventually get an even distribution like Rutgers, Maryland and Nebraska did?

    Realignment Megathread (All The Moves)

It's become kind of crazy and I really wish we could throw it in reverse and go back to the Big 8 days but that's impossible. The one thing we can say with certainty is that only a privileged few know what's going to happen. Spartan thought there was zero chance the Big would add PAC schools...

    Realignment Megathread (All The Moves)

There's zero chance those schools will profit the Big 10. You actually think UCLA makes that kind of money or any money at all? They took them to capture a footprint on west coast and those were the best schools for it. They are expanding to a ridiculous point and they will continue to do so...

    Realignment Megathread (All The Moves)

Currently it's impossible to add a school without it not being a loss to the conference. The media payouts are too high for any school to make enough to justify that number outside of the top 3 or 4 schools in the Big 10 and SEC. That didn't stop the Big 10 from adding Oregon, Washington and...

    Realignment Megathread (All The Moves)

I wouldn't be surprised if the end game is something like 24 teams for each conference and forming their own division. They could possibly invite other teams to their championship tournaments but they would pretty much run all of college sports in this country. I wish we could turn back the...

SEC/Big Ten Developing Plan to Share Revenue with Athletes

All they have to do is move it a little. Money normally coming in from donors for facilities will be used for players and facilities and scholarships can be paid for with media money. When they start making around 50 million more per year just coming from their media contract it will make a...

T.J. Tampa projected as first round pick going into NFL Combine

I thought he had a great year and did a good job of shutting down his receiver. The one game ISU played without him the defense wasn't near as good. I think he's dropping because of that 40 time and he's going to be a steal for someone.

    ***Official 2024 Transfer Thread***

I don't think they are looking at McNeeley anymore. Went the transfer route instead. They might be done because they still have to lose one scholarship this year or next to satisfy NCAA sanctions. They redshirted Clemence who plays the 4-5 and supposedly looked really good in practice.

    We Will Collective contributor numbers

Right now the 2 mega conferences don't have that much of a financial advantage but they will in the very near future and paying players or NIL will become bigger and bigger. 5 years from now it is going to be so hard for the Big 12 to compete in football against those 2 conferences.

    We Will Collective contributor numbers

The Big 12 would be crazy not to pick up Duke if they come available. Basketball will be worth a little more when the NCAA finally dies because they keep most of the billions generated by the national tournament.

    UCONN vs Purdue Championship Thread

Perfect. The Big 12 needs to invite them tomorrow.

    John Calipari to Arkansas

You have to remember a lot of those NBA players only played one year at Kentucky and were 19 years old. Cal got lucky with his 1 NC team because he had a super mature generational player that led them, but usually mature teams are the ones capable of running off 6 wins in a row. If Cal figures...

    John Calipari to Arkansas

I agree. This year will just add to it. I don't see that coach going anywhere and he'll win some more. I probably just jinxed it and Wednesday he'll announce that he's the next UK coach.

    John Calipari to Arkansas

Yes, there's a ton of talent in the East. I saw something the other day that stated since Wooden retired KU is the college west of the Mississippi with multiple championships. Seems crazy, but I can't think of another school with at least 2.

    John Calipari to Arkansas

As a KU fan I agree with a lot you are saying and think conference titles should also be thrown In there but if UConn wins it tonight I think they should be the exception. With that many titles you would have to be considered a Blue Blood.

    John Calipari to Arkansas

Arkansas is a great job that has never taken advantage of their resources. It's not UK, but UK Is one of the top jobs in the country and if they make the right hire they will continue to be. I won't be surprised if this ends up good for both schools. Cal needed a fresh restart and to readjust...

    2024 Mens CBB Coaching Carousel

I think he'll win there. He just needs to adjust how he does things. Take a few of those scholarships he used on HS players and sign transfers instead and instantly he will be a lot better. Arkansas has tons of cash and Cal with have top 10 recruits coming in. Probably a good move for both...

    John Calipari to Arkansas

Good move for everyone. Cal gets a fresh start at a place with less pressure but tons of money. UK gets a fresh start with any coach they want minus just a few. Works for both schools, only negative will be the school that currently has the future UK coach.

Kansas State fans are madder than I have ever seen

Plus their video department is the worst.
