Why? They were officially selected to play in it. Not their fault the other team backed out. I haven’t seen any Iowa fans claim Mizzou forfeited nor have any Iowa fans claimed a win. Nice reach.
According to you Jack Campbell is a loser because he lost to ISU. Therefore pretty much every player during the Matt Campbell era is a loser. This is your logic, so it’s what I’m abiding by here.
Nobody has ever mentioned grades with him. Only a few people on Twitter, with no credibility, have mentioned grades. We’ll never know the real reason Iowa decided to pass.
Sad to know you view the majority of your players under Matt Campbell as losers. Some of your program’s all time greats have played for him but at the end of the day you clearly only see them as losers. Pretty weird stance to have in all honesty.
Ok, you’re just dodging the question. Do you believe the majority of Matt Campbell’s players throughout his career at Iowa State are losers?
And to your last point, if you wanna troll you should try to get it correct.
Ok, clever comeback.
So the majority of players that have ever played for Matt Campbell are losers. Gotcha. Sad for you to view some of the greatest players to ever walk through the doors of your school to be losers at the end of their career.
He doesn’t have any NCAA records no. Doesn’t change the fact no ISU player has accomplished the things Jack has lol. Not sure why you’re referring to Jack as a loser either. Guess you must think most of the players under Matt Campbell went out as losers as well. Do you believe that?
Oh, I could care less about how he’s going out against ISU. He’s going out as an all time great Hawk with an incredible amount of accolades. Excited to see him tear it up at the next level.
And one of the most decorated players in the state of Iowa’s history. Not a single ISU player in the history of your program has accomplished the same things as Jack. Looking back on everything, the loss to ISU won’t be anything that phases the kid.
Guessing you’d also like to talk about Purdy...
If your record is 2-1 against a team, he’ll go out as a winner.
And I doubt he really cares about ISU lol, he’s going out as the winner of multiple awards, first team All American, first team all conference, and a draft pick come spring time.
Went 2-1 against them in his career and made a great decision declining the ISU offer. Made himself a rich man doing so. I think he’s fine and going out a winner.
