    The loss Kelsey and AJ can not be overstated last night defensively.

    Definitely one of JB's better games! She showed some aggressiveness last night that hasn't always been there. I still can hardly believe this season was accomplished with 5 freshmen as major contributors! If we can get another Hannah B type sharp shooter next year....watch out!

    Probably True. I was thinking about teams like Oklahoma, Pitt, & St.Johns this year. If they won the NIT & had 2-3 days rest, could they compete at a Sweet 16 level? Oklahoma vs. Purdue on a neutral court (for example) - doesn't seem so lopsided to me. I just think it would be a bummer if...

    I actually thought it might be the easiest approach. Both tournaments, management, & infrastructure already exist. Keep everything essentially the same except the NIT champ folds into the NCAA sweet 16.

    +1 for track saw. They are a game changer for working with sheet goods. My new favorite tool. So much easier and accurate than trying to push a 4x8 sheet over my table saw!

    Agree...after last week, I was pleasantly surprised by our OL play today. Our run game was productive today for the most part. I think improving the blitz pickup is their biggest need.

    I found a video online of how to make homemade "board butter". Melt 5 parts mineral oil and 1 part bees wax (all food grade). Let it cool and solidify. Rub on liberally, let it set overnight & buff off.

    A lot of glue! Ran everything through my jointer & planer for the first glue-up to get the tightest joints possible. Took a bunch of time with featherboards (table saw) for the angled cuts to get as tight of joints as possible again. Overall, I'm pretty happy with how the joints turned out...

    One more...made a new cutting board for my wife for one of her Christmas gifts. Simple, but I think it turned out OK. You never know for sure until you put the finish on!
