    4 million his first year and 3 million his second year. Combine that with Prohm’s large buyout and I don’t see it happening for ISU, unfortunately.

    Wigs almost left for the NBA after his 1st year, and I highly doubt it was a surprise he left after spending his 2nd year coming off the bench. Why would he come back for a 3rd year to possibly not start again? THT was a top 40’s recruit who started showing up in mock drafts as a late round...

    Exactly, I don’t understand all this “if TH was still here” nonsense. He’s not here. That’s like saying if TJ (who did grade at South Dakota State and has already turned around UNLV in the first year) was hired instead of prohm, we wouldn’t be in the mess we are in with multiple losing seasons...

    I can’t get my screenshot of it to post, but he basically said that Kansas decided not to foul at the end of the Baylor game, and still won. Then he called out ISU fans and reporters for Criticizing SP’s handling of the end of the TCU regulation game.

    Am I the only one who thinks this is crazy? First of all because SP admitted in the post game conference that he asked the players to foul, but they did not execute. Also because the athletic director is calling out ISU fans! edit to add - can’t get my screenshot to post, but here is the quote...

    That is true and I hope you’re right. But yet Pollard gave SP an extension last year, and yesterday went on Twitter to defend SP and call out ISU fans. That worries me that Pollard is all in on SP.

    I don’t think there’s any guarantee that TJ will be waiting in the wings when and if we need him. He’s getting to be a pretty hot name in coaching, especially after the win at SDS. Who knows, he may be doing well enough next year that he will have his pick of programs to go to.

    Agree completely. But, did you see Pollard’s tweet today defending SP and trolling ISU fans? I’m afraid Pollard is firmly in SP’s corner. In the meantime, TJ’s team just beat SDS on the road....

    Not sure I buy that Leath made JP hire SP over TJ. Evidence 1) JP gave SP extension last year and 2) JP’s tweet today defending SP and calling out ISU fans. Seems like JP is firmly in Prohm’s corner unfortunately.
