    *** Official #14 IOWA STATE vs Texas Game(day) Thread ***

    Did it appear to anyone else that the clock was very slow to start when TX got ball in second half? Seemed like for awhile they dribbled the ball 2 or 3 times before the clock started. Will check my Tivo copy. Look around the 10 min. mark second half. Maybe this was just my anxiety.

    Same feeling I got when Tom Goedgen and team missed the PAT vs Nebraska in 1972 and repeated many times since. At least that was a tie.

    All I said is it was amazing they didn't even review it. If this was reversed and a KU player was gashed laying on the floor what do you think would happen? "Just basketball" ?

    Georges was tearing KS apart. Then elbow is brought down hard putting him out of game. Five stitches. Not even looked at on video for flagrant 2. Amazing.

    Where did Gladis Hefty go? Maybe she ran off with guys in blue and orange "Dumb & Dumber" suits. All are gone after XMAS. They added a lot of fun to games. Miss Big George, too. Tragic.
