This has the potential to be unpopular since it's counter to their primary mission, but Slipknot's Vermilion Pt 2 is so much better than Pt 1. It just works so well slowed and stripped and unplugged. It's a side of the group people wouldn't expect. -

Bit of a stretch on the premise, but I always thought this was funny. We'll make one poppy, and layer in some steel guitar and twang on the other one, release them to their respective formats and never the twain shall meet. -

The ultimate example of this is Guns N Roses - Don't Cry. They had two different sets of lyrics and decided to go with both. Always thought the more brooding version from UYI2 was better, but the ugly crossfade in the middle of the song is a stark reminder of which version is the original. -

Dog with Full CCL Tear
Had a lab/blue heeler mix tear up her knee around 9 years old too. She had a chest mass that made surgery a nonstarter.
