    I guess if you live out of state or don’t go to games it really doesn’t matter what the stadium looks like or how many tickets we sell. Let’s just schedule 3 cream puffs at home with fan bases that don’t hurt our feelings.

    I think attendance wise we do OK with anyone early season. Usually tickets to be had for face value or less. Only way we get Gameday is Iowa rivalry game or against OU/Texas if both teams are ranked in top 20. I’m just glad JP makes Iowa State’s decisions and not the idiots on HR or CF.

    You comparing just in game when we were taking it to a ranked team without a 3 hour rain delay? Or the whole week leading up to it, college Gameday, $200 ticket just to get in, $500 parking passes, and 100,000+ people in Ames?

Nebraska would be about the only regional game that would have half as much fan interest and I doubt we regularly schedule Nebraska.
