I loved the music too!

Everything is in context of time and access to games and highlights. When you're a kid with only over the air TV, this was about all I had to get information about guys like Griffey, Frank Thomas, and other stars. It's also why the All-Star game was so cool back then.

Kind of the same with the NBA and that Saturday Morning show with Ahmad Rashad and the NBA All-Star game. Back in the day you pretty much got an NBC game that included the Bulls, Knicks, Lakers and Celtics.
