Just noticed that ISU plays Houston Christian Dec 29. The head coach of HCU is Craig Doty. Craig coached Graceland University (where I taught for 20 years) when Graceland won the national title in 2018. Will be fun to see him back in Iowa again.

Did you teach Caitlyn Jenner?

Bruce Jenner was at Graceland in the 70’s when I was in high school. I trained for track on the same track at the same time he was preparing for the Olympics. He also did his student teaching at my high school. Caitlyn did make a speaking appearance at the university early in my tenure there.
