Kid has some talent, but not enough for a team to overlook and have to deal with his father. What head coach or front office wants his dad looking over their shoulder, talking to the press all the time and pushing to be the next head coach of the team. He is just not worth the drama for many teams, so they don't take him.

I look for him to eventually end up on the cowboys. Jerry can deal with that stuff fine.

he is especially not worth it now that he has fallen to day 3. nobody is drafting a problem child in the late rounds. today is about finding culture fits and filling positions on need.

i think there is a chance he goes completely undrafted. but i am wrong all the time so he probably gets picked in the first 30 minutes of today.

Unless Shaduer is a complete unrepentant ******* I hope he proves the NFL establishment is wrong about him. Kid was fun to watch in college and definitely had a lot to do with the resurrection of CU football.
As much as I think he has to learn, I think he will do decent in the NFL if they give him a chance. How both he and Deion speak about adversity and facing it is very healthy.

Same. Gotta love Al Davis drafting JaMarcus Russell over Adrian Peterson and Calvin Johnson. Or drafting Darius Heyward-Bey before Michael Crabtree. Or... (we could go all day with examples)
Think Jamarcus made $100k per completion for his career. Gallery over Fitzgerald is the draft mistake I won’t ever forget. Maybe my hatred of Iowa adds fuel to this blunder but I distinctly remember telling hawk friends that Gallery would be a bust. Gallery and Russell are 1a/1b Raiders busts of all-time. JFC I think Big Ben went several picks later.

If there is a terrible decision to make, the Raiders will find it. Drafting Porter has made me forgive a little. Think he has a good career.

at some point a team may pick up sanders with the intention of trading him later in the year to a team that has lost their QB to injury or missed in free agency on QB.

From 1994; “Who in the hell is Mel Kiper anyway? Here's a guy that criticizes everybody, whoever they take. He's got the answers to who you should take and who you shouldn't take. And my knowledge of him: he's never ever put on a jock strap, he's never been a coach, he's never been a scout, he's been an administrator and all of a sudden he's an expert."

I think he would rather be undrafted at this point and pick his own landing spot

Way up there
Sanders fans are proving why you really wouldn't want him. The accusations of collusion, racism etc... Aren't helping him. Attacking the QBs that were picked ahead of him isn't helping him. It's all now examples of why he might not be worth taking. It's going to be a terrible situation if he flops, fans will demand he play, throw the coaches and other players under the bus. They will create an enemy out of anyone in his way. We've seen it for two years, who would want that drama?

The question is more of who would want this circus? He was never a top 5 pick like his dad said, but he is certainly a better NFL QB prospect than Milroe at minimum and probably Gabriel. Sure he could pick his spot in theory if he doesn’t get drafted, but again, who wants to deal with all of that? We saw it with Tebow and with Kaepernick they didn’t want to deal with it. This would be like those 2 put together x10.

It’s the opposite. Today is the easiest day to draft him. A lot of teams will be more willing to take a risky pick with upside. A team with a QB might be more willing to draft him now too, even if for no reason other than the chance to trade him for a higher pick in the future or if they have a QB retiring in the next few years.

Honestly I would take Quinn Ewers or Will Howard over Sanders maybe even Kyle McCord too. They all seem better suited to run a pro style offense. None of these guys strike me as franchise QBs and I think Sanders falling as far as he has so far when teams that have a need at QB have passed him up 2 or 3 times already is an indications they feel like they can fill other needs and hold off on QB then ride it out another season when next year's draft will have more QB talent to offer.

Ewers I think better straight up, Howard only if there’s a huge locker room type of difference.

I do agree. But at the same time, any parent who raises and enables his son to have the attitude that at the age of 23, without having played a snap of professional football, he is worthy of the moniker "Legendary" is just as big of a douchebag.

Deion failed this kid big time.
