Been to 4 bars, 2 restaurants with bars and staying at Downtown Marriott that’s hosting ISU basketball team and a couple others Big 12 schools. NONE of these places has ESPN + and could care less about it.
So we continue the Big 10, SEC and ACC game watches. Embarrassing and rediculous!!

They can't afford the $11.99 a month for it.

Isn't everything from here on out on a main ESPN channel?
According to my espn app, 2/4 games will be on espn/espn2 today, 1/4 tomorrow, 0/2 Friday, and 1/1 on Saturday

Edit: and of course my espn app is wrong, everything after today is on ESPN or ESPN2

...are there places where bars do regularly have it? I have yet to find one. This is why keeping our games on linear networks is so damn important. Bars & restaurants aren't going to bother to deal with this crap anytime soon.

That sucks the Sports Bars do not have ESPN +. I guess they do not want huge overflow crowds drinking in their bar. The game coverage is ESPN + typical quality. What is with the "XII"- almost as bad as the TCU court.

Curious question, but is it more complex for restaurants and bars to use streaming services? I know most places have software in the back that connects TVs and stuff, but not sure how that infrastructure works?

I remember when I lived in Kansas City, the alumni club there, when they did game watches on Cyclones.TV, had to use a laptop and connect to the bars software/systems to broadcast the game as the bar itself couldn't.

This is my thought as well. Unless you're a bar that specializes in certain things, like soccer, cricket, rugby, etc., then I would think that most aren't going to have the setup to do that.

Most restaurants and bars still have DirecTV which is how ESPN+ is distributed to businesses.

The problem is that these larger conference tournaments are now five rounds, and the first three are full days.
