I recorded the game as I was at a fundraiser. Got a call as the game was starting, best friend from college…we were in Ames for homecoming (I live out of state), I had gotten a women’s bball shirt, got home and couldn’t find it…my friend happened to take that bag out of my car…so, today she was going to Ames for the game and had nice new shirt to wear!! Love to see this win! Emily will be missed! Once a Cyclone, always a Cyclone! And I’m forever proud to be one

Wish I could attach a video. Shot a fun one where Ryan was being interviewed for tv and they finally invited the team over and they swarmed her. Was very cool.

I agree that this was a signature win and it was all for Emily. So nice to see.

I did not see mention of how Crooks changed her game ever so slightly in a way had her eating up the KSU inside defenders, Early in the game, they blocked her a number of times, so she simply added a slight jump fake and then went for the shot. Took out the blocks and her field goal percent jumped. I don't know if that came from Audi herself or one of the coaches but it represented a turning point in her game.

Sometimes it seems like the refs just pull a call out of a hat and call it a lot. Yesterday it was offensive charges, versus Houston it was traveling.
