Last year my son and spent 5 days in Houston in the end of February. We attended a conference, Ate out multiple times per day and spent an entire day at the Stock show and rodeo. I bet I saw less than 5 people wearing Houston gear. Is was crazy how absent it was. Good reminder of how lucky ISU is not to have to compete with a pro team for dollars and fans.

That said , I'll be curious to see how many "cowboy and cowgirls" show up.

Unfortunately my wife has been a patient at MD Anderson (during covid nonetheless). She still goes back (yearly now) for regular check ups. We're now 5 years out and have made many many trips to Houston. The only time I've seen Houston gear is when we went to the HEB closest to campus once. Outside of that, I literally can't recall seeing any Houston gear anywhere, ever. I've actually seen more Rice gear... but that's probably because rice campus is adjacent to the TMC.
