Iowa will struggle to move the ball. I'm just hoping it doesn't come down to kickers. I think if ISU can find the endzone 3 times then we win.

ISU 21
Iowa 17

Yeah, I have a feeling Iowa's running game will look just a little bit different next Saturday...

Way up there
I think this one will be a lot like the UNI game when we have the ball. Iowa wants to slow the game down, Campbell will let them, we'll struggle to throw the ball and/or score. If Purdy isn't involved in the running game, the offense will look like it did under Kempt in IC last year. I'd love to think we'll play different and try to speed them up but this staff has shown they will get roped into these kind of grind it out type of games. I really hope I'm wrong. Also JGJ having to block Epenesa (or any quality DE for that matter) scares me. That's our biggest disadvantage, he's going to need a lot of help.

Iowa 17
ISU 6

Using this logic, ISU will never win another game in this series.
You're acting like it was blasphemy that I said Iowa is only going to score 13 points and I said it literally happened last year. I have no idea how us winning by 4 in a low score game is being a "homer" but whatever I guess.

A ISU homer on a website called Cyclone Fanatic???? No way.
I don't even know what was wrong with what I said.. Two great defenses, score is 13-10 in the late 4th and we score a TD late to win the game?

KF just ruled Jackson out for the next 2 games at minimum so he wont be playing against ISU. We also had Riley Moss get hurt on Saturday and he is out 4-6 weeks per KF.

Banwart has a shot to be back this week against Rutgers.

Brents is out again this week and could miss the ISU game as well with an injury.

Missing both Brents and Moss is a big hit to our secondary depth.

Trust me, they will play.

After watching Epenesa as an every down DE the other night I'm not nearly as concerned. If Kirk reduces his snaps and uses him more as a pass rush specialist, then my level of concern would certainly grow.

ISU is going to catch the breaks this year. I’m on record ISU by ten. I have a charity bet on HR giving Iowa 9.5. I don’t know if I’ve ever felt stronger about a game in this series.
