I’d be shocked if anyone is sent down on this roster for Ben Zobrist.

What makes most sense to me is Tony Kemp or David Bote unfortunately get a hang nail forcing them to the IL

Man, this club is tough to watch on the road. With the way the Cubs are playing away from Wrigley, perhaps it would work to hang the OPPONENTS jerseys in the clubhouse, Joe.

Hamels 2nd straight short outing. Saw his last rehab start in Iowa and he gave up a lot of hard contact and the same has happened the past 2 outings. Not sure if hes quite right still

Last year was super depressing by now, and you could read it within the organization. I don’t get that sense right now

Every kind of problem seems to be coming up with this team right now. The past two games our starters are horrendous, tonight our offense does enough and we get a great outing out of Darvish, but the bullpen blows it. Not to mention the injuries of Wilson, Kimbrel, etc.

Hard to stay positive at this point.

I’m pissed, but I also realize Kimbrel, Kintzler, a healthy Morrow, and Cishek are all better options in the 9th tonight and none of those 4 were available,

We knew we’d be playing with fire when we sent them to the IL. Now we’re paying for the repercussions.

We’ll be fine.

I do think this team knows their performance determines if Joe comes back next year, and I do think him publicly getting comfortable was a poor decision.
