Mo was a fan favorite and Bills first recruit. Always a special place for her. Still remember how shocked I was when I heard she suddenly passed.

As far as I know her cause of death was never released. I never thought of her as the star of that game with UCONN but indeed she was.

A friend of mine who worked with her doesn't know either, only that it happened very fast.

That was a great video. Some of my fondest memories of watching our WBB team was around the same time Mo played as I was going to school at ISU from 98-02. She was the cornerstone of the foundation for Fennelly's success at ISU and while she was mostly a role player she was a leader on that team and I kind of thought at the time she was the "glue" player on the team like Stevie Johnson was on the men's team. Made all the hustle plays and stepped up in key spots to give the team a spark they needed to go on a run.

Another life cut short way too soon, but you can bet that's the 1 player that Bill probably will ever be grateful for as her commitment to ISU was the first building block of what the program has become.
