ESPN has ISU at a 7 and CBS an 8....yet ISU is ranked 21 in Ken Pom (just outside a 5) and 23 in NET (6 seed). The site you've just posted has ISU an 8 as well which I just don't see happening.

I also don't buy stock in boasting about how many teams you got in correctly. Every bacteriologist better get 66 or 67 out of 68 as the committee always snubs one or two teams.

I care more about correct seedings.

I think this year will be trickier for people to predict seeds due to the introduction of the NET rankings and how the committee will utilize they along with all of the other data.

Wait, you mean guys guessing 66/68 teams correctly when 32 of those are auto bids and probably another 30 can be EASILY picked aren't geniuses?

They seeded 48 of them correctly also. That is not easy to do.

I don't disagree there, I was going after the 66/68 teams point. I don't think that part is very tough.

With the NET I'd thinking seeding teams would be easier. When the NCAA released the top 16, it essentially was just the top 16 in NET.

I don't believe ISU will drop below a 6. But seeding them as an 8 right now is just stupid. I think there is quite a big gap between the 8/9 line in comparison with the 6/7 line.

I'd love a 6 seed. ISU can easily beat a 3 seed if they play well and would avoid the 1 seeds.

I think a 6 would be great, as well.

There are a couple 3 seeds I'd be leary of (Houston, Purdue) that I wouldn't want to play but otherwise it would be a great set up. Ideally, give me LSU as the 3 and lets roll!

The committee loves the potential ISU/Purdue second round matchup for some reason.

Typically when someone says "Hi" followed by that persons name, it is a form of greeting and should be treated as such. An appropriate response would be, "Why hello CyTwins! How are you this fine day? Go Cyclones!"
