It amazes me how may times CBS has managed to screw the selection show up before they realize that a simple reveal is what the viewers want.
What am I missing? Either way you see who got in? Why does it matter how its presented? Most sports they just put out the bracket and that is it.
Last year they announced the field in alphabetical order and then revealed the bracket. It was really dumb and made no sense. A few years ago they released a region and then spent a ton of time analyzing it before moving to the next region. That was the year that someone on the inside leaked the bracket on Twitter before they had even finished the third region.
Looking at it as positively as possible, nothing about it was an improvement on the usual format.
Oh praise the lord now it still doesn’t matter since it’s on Twitter way ahead of time anyway. Now I can go full rage against daylight savings again!
Daylight savings time happens every year...sometimes even twice.
Which is what people want.
Dragging it out only makes people post it online and defeats the purpose of even having a show.
In other words:
Basically, post the brackets, then analyze all things that may not happen.
If you're a "basketball junkie" this wouldn't be a question.
