Hard to know what to put a lot of stock in when it comes to deadspin but we are way past the point of quickly throwing out anything to do with that horrible university

It's actually incredible to see how many different people and moving parts would've had to be onboard with these operations for them to run the way they did. Administration, coaches, AD, local PD, university PD, university departments... Everyone had to be working together until it all fell apart. It really wasn't just Briles. I really thought Waco would've learned from the first time they had cult problems, but apparently they didn't -- the blind belief in their school system and distrust of any dissenters makes that very clear, and both of those traits are still present in its fanbase to this day. All in the name of maintaining a perfect "Christian" reputation.

Oh, and somebody out there has that full PH report. There's absolutely no possible way that a law firm looking through a scandal of this magnitude has no complete, written document of their findings. It may have been presented orally (which, I'm sure was specifically requested by Baylor for obvious reasons), but they have a report somewhere. I'm sure Baylor found some legal way to restrict them from releasing it without school permission, or being forced to reveal it by judicial means.

Less than ideal timing for Baylor with the alignment discussions but their Administration did this to themselves.

I'm very curious to see what the NCAA comes down with. My guess is that it's not going to be a lot, but I could be wrong. Just don't think the NCAA has a lot of teeth right now.

What’s the ruling? TBD? The fact nobody else has hired Briles (even at lower levels) speaks to how bad this whole tragedy was, coercing victims to be quiet is very disgusting

That's about what I expected. NCAA has no teeth at all.

If anyone wants to know why some people are against the NCAA and want to see it fail, look no further. Their priorities are all messed up. Stuff like Penn State, UNC and this they roll over for. But Reggie Bush? He's the worst kind of violator!!!

The Baylor fan site gives more insight but basically the panel couldn’t conclude that Baylor violated any NCAA rules when it failed to report allegations and lack of address to sexual and interpersonal violence. The probation stems from other violations found from 2011-2016.
