Great job on this (as always)! If anyone has listened to the S-Town Podcast (made by the This American Life & Serial people), "A Rose for Emily", off of Odessy and Oracle, is the closing credits music. Perfect use of a great song.

Observation for "Hung Up on a Dream." I sampled it again thru headphones, with a little volume boost (as you suggested). Having the lead vocal placed far to the side in the mix and the bulk of instrumentation near center (other than echo) adds to dreamlike quality.

Guessing here: Is that partly a result of conversion from original mono recording to stereo?

Sorry, I didn't see this until today. No, the stereo mix was not pulled from the mono. A completely separate mix from the original 4 track was done for stereo at the time. As mentioned earlier, there was no money left in the budget so it was paid for by Argent and White out of their pockets.
